Does this LS-80 pickup look funny to you? I think the guitar is from 1980. I see adjustable screws on both bobbins, there is no slug coil.

I am slowly learning about these Tokais :) 1980 Tokai LS-80 on ebay It's attractive enough, got the case, appears to be in decent shape, but I'm just not wowed by it. Maybe it's the lack of any figure on the top. At that price, I would certainly like to see a little flicker to the flame :)...

Finally decided to take some pics today of my Greco Explorer. Year of 1977. Looks identical to the Ibanez Destroyer guitars I have seen, even the case is the same. I always wanted an original 50's Gibson Explorer, but I think this is the closest I'm ever gonna get unless I build one myself.

Here is the auction. $600 + 150 s/h. Looks like pretty nice color. Wasn't me that bought it! Did someone get a decent deal?
