I have a new 2017 AJB140-SEB bass. It is a great bass. It has the stock Tokai pickups the:
JB-Vintage MK3
These sound really good. I also have a 2006 Fender American Standard. These were the basses that had the push series/parallel switch in them and string through body. This is not the cheep standards they make now.
Anyways, I like the Tokai pickups better then the stock Fender one. So, that says these are pretty good pickups to me. I have guitars that have Duncans, Fralins in them. I know the Fralins are good pickups. Just wondering if any one has heard them compared to the Tokais? I am going to take the bass in to get set up in a week or two. So, if i do want to swap PU I want to do that now.
Anyone have any experience with the new Tokai PU?
