I haven't seen a Tokai JS pickup with stamps or other markings yet?

I think I figured it out.

B is probably the same as MKII

C may be MKIII ?

MKII Meaning?

TPB50G in 1984 Vol. 9 catalog listed as MKII

That explains the "B".

Now to find a reference to an MKIII.

This 1985 catalog from Finland shows a "Single Coil Split PB" and "Vintage MKII" for the TPB50V,

but for the TPB40/45 it has a "PB Dynamic" pickup which could very possibly be our "C" position, or MKIII, in the product line.

Wonder if they somehow got shuffled?

I just saw a 1983 TJB45 with clearly marked “B” pickups from March 1983.

Mid 1983 catalog specs it with Vintage MKII pickups.
