Also, is that a fair price? I could get a new a LS75 from Japan for $200 (Canadian) less.

I don't believe LS75's are available anymore.

You may be able to get an LS80 for a little less ($700)but once you import it ($150), pay the customs and brokerage fees and taxes ($200), add a Tokai Hardshell case($150), put in Seth Lover Pickups ($300), add an aluminum tailpiece ($70) and vintage caps ($30); you'd be looking at over $1700 Canadian dollars.

Plus, it won't have been "celebrity" owned. :lol: (Just kidding) (Duh)

BTW - It was sold to me by a Japanese dealer as an "Prototype".
It seems highly modified LS80.

Shush, you aren't supposed to post here. I'm trying find reasons not to spend $1050 (or more) bucks on a guitar I really want but absolutely do not need and cannot justify other than "I want a sunburst Les Paul".

As for LS75s, one can get them from here. Price to import works out to be ~$865 to my living room.
