Hello there.
After selling my '82 Springy a couple of years ago, I've learned a new definition of the word 'regret'. However, I'm now cobbling together a strat to take its place. The U-stamped pickups that were in there were my favourite strat pickups ever, and I'm looking to get something similar for my build. I know they're a touch hotter than vintage strat pickups at around 6k, but my question is: are they alnico 3 or 5? I'm guessing 5, but would appreciate one of you knowledgeable coves chiming in.
