I was referring to John's drug habit, but that's all water under the bridge now so I'm prepared to slate him for his (old) stupid mishandling of his personal affairs. It's horrible to see him like that. He almost died.

I understand why people don't rate him, not technical enough for some. That's not why he's one of life's success stories though. It's my thread too so I'll post what the hell I like. 8)

Seeing that I play Alto Sax as well as Bluesy guitar this is right up my street.
Great guitar solo towards the end.

What are the opening chords before the sax starts?

What I get are G Eb F6, G Eb C, G Eb F6 then Alto Sax D C A G.

Superb song, and great sax solo/riff by Raf Ravenscroft. On the album version there is a brilliant guitar solo at the end - every bit as good as the sax solo. Unfortunately it has been edited out of this version by someone, who should be shot for crimes against music. :evil:

The Foo Fighters used to include the original version in a mix tape that they played before hitting the stage at every gig.
It used to also contain RUSH/Limelight.....Sabbath/Heaven and Hell....AC/DC/Highway to Hell...among others.
