Mizuno Tokai

I have been looking around a bit to pick up another Tokai and am leaning towards a higher end or vintage model. I have seen a couple exclusive models with a H. Mizuno name on the headstock. M-59 on the truss rod cover plate too. Does anyone have any knowledge on them ? My internet searching turns up nothing....I have a feeling they are LS 200 /250 based guitars made for a specific Japanese shop,,,or something like that.

Any help would be great. :wink:

Surprised a bit no one offered up any insight.

Thankfully a buddy was able to give me some info. Seems the Mizuno exclusive models are spec'd from a shop in Nagoya. The M-59 indicates it is patterned after a '59 LP - not much of a stretch there, uh.

It is perhaps on par with a LS-260. Good but not great like the 300's...
