Pics seem to show a misalligned veneer top and a possibly cracked headstock ...........But, the way the bidding is heating up maybe I ned glasses ........what do ya think ?

I wouldn't risk that one... Some of those pictures look like could be more than just in the finish. The colour all over the back looks a little strange to me. It might just be polish or it could be touch up or rubbed with something to hide defects?

Well spotted. I didn't notice that but it does look like a veneer. The line is clearer in this one.

Could someone explain to me please what a veneer top means? And how do you know that it is a veneer top rather than a solid top. The pictures in this case show two layers, so I thought that that meant a solid top.

Yes Jacco it is about time that the forum members get to see my lady. The forecast for the weekend is warm & sunny so hopefully I can take some pictures with natural light.

So, just a little bit more patience, it is in the pipe line! Will take some of my ObG ES335 as well.
