It's one thing to be able to speak a foreign language, but lots of people can do that. It's another thing to have a good grasp of "street" language - not just the formal stuff they teach you in classrooms. But to be able to re-translate a mangled original translation of complicated technical stuff is very impressive.

Nice one Joe. :p

thanks mikeman but i am really just one of them coz basically every immigrants in USA uses english like mine maybe......Stockton is full of the immigrant kids and they all talk like that. they dont know good english in many cases.......anyways thanks for the compliment, it must be genuine since its from a hardcore british london guy! very impressive! ......J

when and how much did you buy that gtr mikeman???

I got it in May from Yahoo Japan for 50,000 yen, which I thought was quite a good price. I think the ugly rout for the neck pickup put some buyers off, & it definitely made it less valuable.

It doesn't bother me, in fact I might try fitting a P90 at some point, & all it will cost me is the price of a new scratchplate.

I knew I had made the right decision when villager said "How did I miss that?" Mark has a good eye for a top-end guitar, & if he would have been interested, I know I got something good.

I must change the Fender bridge for one of the Tokai 6 saddle bridges one day, they're such comfortable bridges to play compared to the old Fender vintage type.

keep it precious mikeman. its one of the coolest tokai gtrs i have ever known. i buy mine someday when i found one somewhere......J

As mentioned by Chuck Berry in Too Much Monkey Business:

Runnin to-and-fro - hard workin at the mill.
Never fail in the mail - yeah, come a rotten bill!
Too much monkey business. too much monkey business.
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in!

Salesman talkin to me - tryin to run me up a creek.
Says you can buy it, go on try it - you can pay me next week, ahh!
Too much monkey business. too much monkey business.
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in!

Blond hair, good looking - tryin to get me hooked.
Want me to marry - get a home - settle down - write a book!
Too much monkey business. too much monkey business.
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in!

Same thing every day - gettin up, goin to school.
No need for me complaining - my objections overruled, ahh!
Too much monkey business. too much monkey business.
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in!

Telephone - something wrong - dime gone - will mail
Ought to sue the operator for telling me a tale - ahh!
Too much monkey business. too much monkey business.
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in!

Been to Yokohama - been fightin in the war.
Army bunk - army chow - army clothes - army car, aah!
Too much monkey business. too much monkey business.
Too much monkey business for me to be involved in!

Workin in the fillin' station - too many tasks.
Wipe the windows - check the tires - check the oil - dollar gas!
Too much monkey business. too much monkey business.
Dont want your botheration, get away, leave me!

Could maniac refer to Crews Maniac? It seems to me that Crews Maniac make their own clones and original guitars, and they also customise existing guitars, so they may have parts as well?

not in the mikes teles dot marker case........
"Crews Maniac" is the small team of the gtr builders in tokyo who are all maniac crew! i guess they make D'Angelico Japan and more......
very high quality.......

Cool stuff!
Edit - but I wasn't meaning that Mike's Tele was possibly made by Crews Maniac. I've also noticed that the Crews Maniac brand is being used on some pedal effects, possibly modded versions of existing pedals?

Here's another translator that I use:
http://www.worldlingo.com/en/products_services/worldlingo_translator.html

Usually, between Google and this one you can get a pretty good idea of what the meaning is, but it didn't really do much good with Ryan's text, no where near as good as Sushi Guy!

Translation:
* Entirely finely it is the beauty item in the abrasion, but there is a crack whose 2Cm rank is thin slantedly below 700 sealing of the neck reverse side.
Is thought as the crack only of the paint part, but it cannot conclude.
Verification with the photograph.
It is not the serious kind of scar where the neck breaking is connected.
As for other things the defect item, there is no remodelling and modifying and it is full original.

the handmade feels much better than the machine-made huh...... 8)

Hell yes!
