Hibikis are stroger voiced than regular LS series, pickups are so also.

Some guitars had HM-3 too

I will post an original rings set from an HLS-360 I have lying around tomorrow. I am pretty sure they are butyrate made as on 50s.

Tokai Les Paul HLS-MIJ LTD SR MIJ Made in Japan | eBay

https://jp.mercari.com/item/m32253847158

Product description

In 2017, I purchased a second-hand item that Miyaji Musical Instruments Kanda store listed on Digimart. This is one of the two instruments that Miyaji Musical Instruments of Tokai Super Shop ordered from Tokai in 2012. It has only been used at home and is in good condition, but there are some minor scratches. (Slight scratches around the pegs when changing strings, small scratches on the back of the neck that have been there since purchase, peeling of the plating on the saddle, etc.)

Currently there are no problems with the neck or frets.
I removed the strings during the photo shoot on November 23, 2023, and replaced them with regular slinkys.
If you search for TOKAI HLS-MIJ-LTD, an article about Miyaji Musical Instruments from that time will come up, and even if you look at the wood grain, this is the actual guitar introduced in the article.
In the same article, it is stated that ``The weight is kept to approximately 4 kg, which is well balanced for this type of guitar.'' Therefore, the weight is thought to be ``approximately 4 kg.''
Equipped with the pickup "The Fifty Nine Plus" which is not sold separately.
I haven't touched the truss rod etc. since I bought it (there was no need for it).
Unfortunately, there was no guarantee from the time of second-hand purchase.
As mentioned in the article above, this is a guitar with a clear background.

[Preview video available] Tokai Love Rock HLS-240 Violin Finish Tokai LS Les Paul Type

Description of item

This is the HLS-240 from the HLS series, which was only available at select shops at the time of its release.
The list price is ¥240,000 (excluding tax) as the model name indicates.
Purchased new in 2013. It's not used very often.

There is peeling paint on the top of the head, several dents and scratches on the body, and scratches from picks.
There are light scratches on the top of the case.
Please refer to the 9th product image for the remaining amount of frets. The truss rod has not been touched at all.
There is no twisting or twisting of the neck. The string height is 6th string: approx. 2.0mm and 1st string: approx. 1.5mm above the 12th fret . The weight of the main unit is 4.6kg. (There may be an error because it is measured using a luggage scale.)

This is a trial video of this individual. (Jump to YouTube)

It will be shipped via Yamato Takkyubin EAZY in a hard case wrapped in bubble wrap. Below is the manufacturer's description.

The HLS240SF, the flagship model of the HLS series, is a top-quality flame top model that uses carefully selected wood and parts to achieve all the specifications that bring it close to vintage. The arch of the body top and the position of the front pickup, which are a vintage feature, are profiled from the 1950s model. Beautiful flame top, 1-piece mahogany back, and USA-made parts. ``The Fifty Nine Plus'' pickup has slightly higher output than ``The Fifty Nine'', and an ultra-thin lacquer finish that is 1/3 thinner than conventional pickups allows for quick rise and fall of sound that responds quickly to the touch. I'm getting it. The neck angle is 3.8 degrees, which is close to the 50's vintage. It has both sustain and crispness. Madagascar rose is used for the Delrin nut, Jescar frets, and fingerboard. The neck set has a deep joint that creates a sense of unity between the body and neck, which has a big impact on the sound.
