Dimarzio super dist

I have a pair of Dimarzio super dist's that came with a LS120-up for grabs- I'll slap um on eBay soon

Also I have a 1986 Fernandes Super Grade Butterscotch Flametop les paul - with the Most killer Pickups I have ever heard-

ochay, I just acquired a 1981 LS-120, with the DiMarzios but I'm used to the Burny pups, namely the VH-1 pups.

Since I've been playing the Burnys so long, my ears are biased toward the VH-1 pups, and I find the DiMarzios much clearer, with a more biting, treble response.

Was wondering, what do you like, and dislike about the DiMarzios, from the old LS-120 models?
