Thanks for the info, I have always believed they were VS-1 DiMarzios. They are, in my opinion, the best sounding strat pickup in a Tokai. My buddy actually removed the neck pickup in his 1962 Stratocaster and put in an "E" stamped Tokai.
I put these on the bay, but would rather sell them to a forum member. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/320853523331?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649#ht_500wt_1193 PM me if you're interested.

Here's my ST-60 It has E pickups, a 4 digit serial # and a maple V-neck. It's very high quality, like my 1980 ST-80. http://s710.photobucket.com/albums/ww108/markgharp/Tokai%20Goldstar%20ST-60/
Here are some pictures of my Goldstar Sound ST-60. It has E stamped pickups and an incredible V-neck. The serial number is 4 digits. It's very close to the quality of my 1980 http://s710.photobucket.com/albums/ww108/markgharp/Tokai%20Goldstar%20ST-60/
