Loooooooooong shot, but hey you never know. I have a Tokai ST-100 and need a new neck for it. I could also use an original gold ST tremolo. I hear the ST-80 neck is a close match. It is also a soft V. The figuring is usually more extreme on a ST-100 (especially with maple fretboard) bit I am unsure if the ST-80 is Nitro like the ST-100 neck?

Alas she never had the original neck in my ownership. She had a Tokai Springy neck, but she was not an 'A' stamp, not soft V, or Nitro. And the neck stamp was numerically off a lot from the body stamp. I've contacted Faber about that tremolo and tried to buy it, was told it was out of stock.

So you have a body that is marked ST100?

Can you post pics of the body and neck?

I’m curious about what you have.

And sorry about the bridge/trem.

4 pcs. still in stock..
Bought! Thanks. Holy cow this has been an epic quest. I think the last thing I need is a neck. Not sure why I thought the trems were out of stock last time we talked. Maybe I was thinking about a ST-100 neck you thought you may have had somewhere?

Here we go in its current status. Has a killer 7 piece neck on it now. Not sure who made it. Got it from Japan. But naturally it isn't the original neck or even Tokai. The guitar originally came with an ST-50 or 60 neck I believe. Not a V profile. No letter A stamp and not nitro. I now have it on a Tokai Springy sound B&W EVH guitar. Can't wait to get the proper Tremolo from Faber. Then just the neck hunt. (I have the proper gold tuners for it.)

Woah!! Looks similar to that certificate. Do you know who it is? I guess I have never seen an employee signed Tokai neck pocket before. I just assumed some old owner had signed it!!

But he was not the president when that body was made. Similar but not exactly the same signature. It’s very odd.

Never seen that.

Also the neck looks like it was re drilled. Meaning the body may be newer or older than the neck. Hole pattern changed a couple times I the early days.

That body is bizarre. Might be a prototype.

Bridge pickup rout looks like it was painted in that form.

Alas no she had a mini humbucker in the bridge when I got it! But at least they removed as little wood as possible. But the shot of the neck heel is the neck that came with the guitar originally. I really don't think it belonged on there. As mentioned, no A stamp, no V, and not Nitro. THough the stamps were only one (First) digit off from the body, lol.
