Hello everyone,
new to the forum and fairly to the wonderful world of Tokai guitars!
I recently took a risk and bought this guitar on Reverb: it's a brand new Tokai KLS 190F in Heritage Dark Cherry.
Il looks great and plays even better, so I could not be happier with my choice.
I just got some questions about the positioning of this guitar, as It is exclusive for the Japanese market (the "K" stays for Kurosawa Gakki, one of the biggest Japanese dealers who got his special series made by Tokai).
From what I understood the name of the models come from their pricing, so a LS148 Is listed at 148000¥, a LS236 at 236000¥ and so on. Is it correct?
How does the KLS 190F stand in terms of positioning? Can it be considered a High End/Premium model?
Here in Italy and in Europe generally Is hard to draw a comparison with the circulating models so I'd like to have a more clear idea about what I have in my hands.
Pics of the guitar attached, if more details are of interest feel free to ask!
Kind regards
Roberto
