What model pickups is a TE-120 supposed to have? The regular TE-50 models had TE-B pickups, and I believe TE-70s and TE-80s have TE-Hot and TE-A models in them, respectively. Do you have the original bridge pickup, and does it have a model number on it? (That pair in the other post looks gorgeous BTW)! If you get any extra pickups coming in I'll buy one from you!
Good luck!

The 1981 has a TE-A. The '83/4 has an unmarked pick-up which may not be the original ... which is my condrum.

The unmarked pick-up needs, I think, to be rewound (it's very faint). If it's not the original then there's no point in doing this. However, I bought the guitar off a near non-player who I know had had owned it for many years, and it seems to be in it's complete original state. If the neck pick-up was replaced, it was done many years ago.

So, I thought I'd look for a replacement .....

I have one that you can have, I dont know what model its from, but it is a T EA with cloth wiring and measures 5.73Kohms. PM me with your email address if interested & I can send pics.

Hi bunbury!

I've got an ATE70 for sale, but she is 1986 with UK headstock. Double-binding, CAR. All original.

Cheers. Rup

Hi Rupert,

Thanks, but it's just the neck pick-up I'm looking for. Probably a TE-A.
