In 2004 there were a lot of unauthorized Tokais made in Korea. Often called Fakais. Many have a sticker on the back of the headstock and the phrase “Make In Korea” instead of Made. If it is a solid top guitar and not a veneer, then it is worth a good bit of money. These are usually mistaken for the later Chinese and Korean veneer tops and under-priced.
