Oh Geoff, this is brilliant work.

One thing I noticed over the decades is that all these PCBs are wired to 'Modern' style and not 50s style.
Modern has the Tone pot linked by the capacitor to the Volume Pot Input lug.
Original 50s wiring had the Tone pot linked by the capacitor to the Volume Pot Output lug
This is a massive difference in both tone and usability.
I never understood how this was overlooked at Tokai considering the intense scrutiny that underwent the "Replica" processing from original, unaltered instruments but this is what they did. With the exception of the original pre-1960s Les Pauls I have owned, every other Les Paul - (Tokai, Burny, Gibson, etc) have all been converted to 50s wiring.

Interesting observation about the wiring. Had always assumed it was the vintage configuration..
On this subject…have to say I love the sound of those metalized polyester (Mylar) “Chicklet” caps Tokai used and prefer them over many of the boutique tone caps I’ve tried. Have also occasionally used them as replacement (albeit high voltage) coupling caps in vintage audio circuits.

LS200にはPCBがありませんでした。は間違ってます。
私のLS200(1978 Lespaul REBORN)は基板です。(オリジナルハンダ)
LS200はオーダー品のため、PCBを使わない選択を
する人が多かったというのが正しい表現のようです。

Translation:

The LS200 did not have a PCB. is incorrect.

My LS200 (1978 Lespaul REBORN) is a circuit board. (Original solder) Since the LS200 was a custom-made product, it seems more accurate to say that many people chose not to use a PCB.

I went back and looked at examples of LS200 guitars that I have seen and found a 1979 LS200 owned by Cliff Jordan that also has a PCB. So I will correct that. Thank you.

Another 1979 LS200 Les Paul Reborn owned by Cliff.

This one having a PCB. I know that later changed, but fascinating to see on this early example.

Also, a 1978 LS200 would be the earliest one I have heard of.

Could you post pictures in this thread so we can document its existence?

Thanks
