So I just won an auction on Ebay for what they are calling a TST-50. Can someone verify this and tell me if it was built in the 80s. The ad didn't have much info but I checked their other listings which also have limited info. I think I got a pretty good deal if its legit. What do you guys think.. here is the link:

Have a look at this thread:

I know the guitar is different, but many of the comments apply to yours too. The simple fact is that the North American market Strat copies are not as well documented as the Tokai gear we got here in Europe. And there aren't as many US/Canada members to help you.

Be patient - somebody might come along soon who can give you the answers you want. Maybe even Peter Mac....

Can you provide some pics of underneath the pickguard and the pick up bottoms and let us know what the serial number stamped on the neck plate. My suspicion is that this a European modified headstock model, but i need some more pics to aid identification.Gabe.

Hey man, thanks for the reply. I don't have the guitar yet, as I just won the auction on ebay.. still waiting for it to come in. However, in the ad, he says the serial number is: L22932 ... does that help?
