I picked up this recently, and I love the feel and sound, it is from early 80's, it has FSGR stamped saddles, grey bobbin pickups (staggered with a reading of 6.4 to 6.5kOhms), 64 stamp and serial number on neck butt, poly finish. Not sure what the body wood is, alder or basswood, not sure...
I think these were made in Fujigen Factory.

Thanks guys...
This one has a Die-Cast block, and according to this collection in Japan the early RST-80 have iron (steel) block, there is nice pics and information about the early revival. I think this link has been posted before... 8)

The Revival Series are Fuji Gen made. Some Fernandes start model made before are Tokai made,a friend called two weeks ago and shown me his new purchase, similar feel and sound(pickups) to two Tokais I owned....

RST-50 should be alder 3 pieces body made, good guitars....RST-42 is basswood body made.
