This looks unusual - it appears that Tokai forgot to put the GOLDSTAR bit of the decal on it:

Bridge saddles seem to be new, U pickups. Grover tuners? No idea why anybody would put black pickup covers on this, white would look so much better. I assume it's a late 83 or 84 Goldstar. Any views?

Strange one eh Mike? The first goldies had a block logo like the last of the springys.Gabe.

Also the logo transfer (decal) usualy had Tokai and Goldstar sound all on the same field ,not two separate decals. This is weird!GabeP.S It`s been an interesting week at Tokai Towers hasn`t it?. Gabe.

Mind you, so did the early Fender Broadcaster decal. It didn't stop Fender from cutting off the bottom bit to create the "Nocaster" (just "Fender" - no model name) while waiting for the new Telecaster decals to arrive around 1950/51.

Yes,but Fender were doing this to prevent Gresch from taking legal action over the broadKaster name ,why would Tokai want to chop off Goldstar from the decal when they had already established the name on previous block models? Gabe.
