It is hard to tell what you are asking. You mentioned a certificate but I don't see one.

If there is a warrant card or COA the serial number would be on it.

The pictures are not the best, that is why you can't see the serial number in them. I am sure it is there.

Based on the GF pots I would say it was made after 2006 or so.

And sounds like you are excited thinking it is an underpriced premium series guitar?

One thing I noticed it s the lighter colored fretboard. I seem to see those on the lower proiced models, but that could be lighting or the wood is dry.

I would assume it is a veneer top and poly finish unless proven otherwise. And I would spend your money based on those assumptions.

If he is asking big money for a premium model then he should prove what it is by showing it is a solid flamed top and/or show the model number stamp if it is present in the pickup cavity.

The veneer tops can be very convincing.

And are you in Hungary by any chance?
No I am in Germany.. what I mean by certificate is the warranty card yeah ahaha… men to me it looked like the LS420 and it’s Priced about 1500€ which is not a lot if it was original. I talked to him since a few minutes he said the serial number isn’t stamped or printed on the guitar( and that **** scares) and he don’t know more information other than what is written in the warranty card it’s made in 2014 sold in 2015.. is there any Tokai that don’t have serial number on the guitar itself??? And looks original how? Maybe because it’s a new patch 😂

Well, I believe I can see part of a serial number on that guitar when I enlarge the photo. A 4?

Could also be a scratch.

So I think it could be there and he isn't seeing it. He might try shining a light on it at an angle.

And where is the warranty card? I don't see it in any of your photos.

That looks like Tokai's stamps. Not sure about the card.

That would be a 2014 special order model? Not sure of the original price.

Looks legit. Not sure what the model/original price is though.

I'll see if I can find anything similar.
