Lacquer finish, is it the neck long tenon,
MK II pickups then?

The one I am looking at (finish?) crack at the heel-cap / neck-body joint and some more scars, hard to tell if it is only finish....

If it has dot inlays then it's currently an ES158 (ES145/55).
If it has block inlays then it's currently an ES162 (ES160).

The only differences between an ES138 (ES135) and ES155/158 are...
The 138 (ES135) is plain maple top, back and sides, and a Poly finish.
The ES155/158 (dot inlays) and ES162 (block inlays) have a flamed maple top, back and sides, and a Nitro finish.
They all have the same pickups, MK11s, the same bridge, the same tailpiece, pots, jacks, tuners, etc, etc.

Still undecided due to finish cracks. Looks like it fell down.
