LS LOVE ROCK SERIES
1952. Ever since its sensational appearance on the solid guitar scene, this old standard has fostered the history of electric guitars with its perfect beauty and versatile sound, and has played a revolutionary and important role in many music scenes. This old standard, which can be called the "king" of electric guitars, has transcended time and is now making a vivid comeback as the Tokai LS series. Introducing four historical models that faithfully reproduce the individuality of the '56, '57, '58, and '59 traditional models, which can be called the golden age of old standards: the vintage model, the '58 standard model, the special model, and the early standard model. The completely solid 2-piece maple top, Japan's first 1-piece mahogany neck & veneer pack is also known as the 1-piece connection, and it has the supreme sound character that only traditional and Tokai models can have. We have thoroughly analyzed the original, including the old Kluson single knurled pegs, bridge, tailpiece, mounting ring, old color switch knob and saucer knob, and other detailed parts. The hardware is genuine and has special specifications that can only be found in the LS series. In particular, the vintage model uses curly maple, which is rare in the world, for the top, and since its release as a Tora moku standard replica model, it has become the coveted item of professional musicians and old guitar enthusiasts. In addition, the Mahogany '57 standard model, which Joe Walsh is already familiar with, and the long-awaited early standard model equipped with the long-awaited single-coil pickup have a strong personality and will hit guitar freaks directly. Shocking specifications that rewrite history and transcend traditional create a space of unprecedented beauty, making the Tokai LS series even more unique.

VINTAGE
This vintage model is the pinnacle of the standard model. The top of the body is made of two book-matched pieces of curly maple with vivid Tiger Stripe, creating an artistic and mysterious feel. Vintage sound created by the body construction of a 1-piece mahogany pack and 1-piece mahogany neck. The bright cross-grain top perfectly reproduces the style and taste of the Old Standard. In addition, it goes without saying that thorough analysis and research has been conducted down to the smallest parts such as pegs, bridges, tailpieces, and mounting rings. The oldie lyrical sound, rich sustain, and variety of tonal colors supported by perfect hardware are unique to the LS vintage model. High cost performance model LS100V is newly introduced and is the ultimate guitar that perfectly meets the needs of not only professional guitarists but also old guitar enthusiasts.

STANDARD
A traditional standard that is used by many professional musicians and has earned tremendous trust. The Tokai LS Standard Series perfectly recreates the 1956, 1957, and 1958 models that formed the core of this standard's golden age. A standard '56 model with a bright matte gold top mounted with a single coil type pickup and a tune-o-matic. A memorable '57 model with the revolutionary PAF ham packer mounted. The 58 model established the Guitar King name by adding a historic sunburst finish to the previously matte gold finish. These three models are perfect replicas of the originals. Beautiful arched top made of completely solid maple and mahogany, mahogany veneer pack. The bridge and tailpiece are a direct stud type that reliably holds string vibrations and transmits even the subtlest resonance to the body. Electric Spanish Jazz is a guitar dedicated to semi-acoustic guitar players, especially jazz-oriented musicians and genuine jazz guitarists. A semi-hollow body based on the original '58 -'64 model is mounted with two types of newly developed pickups, ES Jazz Standard and ES Jazz Special, which create jersey and acoustic sounds. Jazz spirits Oh. The expressive power to touch is the height of maturity. And the body structure, smoked headstock, dot position, and special color finish that are reproduced as they are are creating an old-fashioned feeling suitable for a masterpiece of a human model.

It produces a sharp and bright, bluesy and tight sound to clearly assert its individuality. In addition, the hardware, neck and body structure that perfectly reproduces the original shows the finish that can be called the essence of a semi-acoustic guitar. A shocking model that transcends Larry Carlton, Jay Graydon, and Roben Ford and gives a hint of a new music scene.

1. Joe Walsh Budokan-Santa Monica Concert. It is also fresh in my memory that Joe Walsh, the hero of the American rock scene, used five models of Tokai electric guitars at the Nippon Budokan to hear the gokigen West Coast sound. After that, according to the latest information from Joe Walsh's stage manager Danny, Tokai was used as the main guitar at the Santa Barbara concert with Uesuto Koosu. For audiences such as American gals and rock kids, it's Janja! Janja! It seems that he received a big deal. So, I'm happy to say that Joe Walsh's original model was under consideration with Tokai staff, but that Eagles'Don Felder also fellin love with Erac and Tokai and joined us with a signature model (signed model). I want to ask. Then, this may be possible to hear the dream of "Hotel California" by two Tokai From now on, let's wait for the Eagles to perform in Japan. Nufufufufu. By the way, Joe Walsh's guitars are LS 200V / VF, his favorite ST100 / BL, LS100S / OR and TE120 / N, ST 80 / FOR.

2. lan Hunter caught in New York and endorsement established Tokai original model used lan Hunter was famous as the lead vocalist of "Mott the Hoople" using a super metamorphosis self-shaped and H type guitar, but at home ground After leaving the UK, he is currently active in New York, and the Tokai monitor team, who can't afford to fall, rushes into the New York office. From the original export models, he selected the model in his photo. Besides, the order of the super metamorphosis guitar that came after all. Unsurprisingly, the design is an H-type double neck guitar. In the near future, you can hear the sound of pulling out the dogimo on the stage. So, his recent soundis included in the album of "Two-walled Outsider" TOSHIBA WWS81441. Mick. Even if you look at the gorgeous faces of Ronson, Ellen Foley, Mick Jones, Topper Headon, etc., you can imagine how amazing the album is. Sufficient to listen! G-Ro

3. Mick Ronson is here for the first time in a while. A male in the British rock world. When it comes to lan Hunter, of course, Mick Ronson is here. Active as a back guitarist and arranger for David * Bowie. He became a part of the British rock world with lan Hunter in "Mott the Hoople" but with drew with lan. Most recently, in 1976, he participated in Bob Dylan's "Rolling Thunder Revue" and became a hot topic. Currently, he is still active in New York, and he never lets go of the Tokai TX-130. "After all, this person isa professional who understands the true goodness of the guitar." I praise the triangle through neck of this guitar as being very original, and this is also a little crazy. Needless to say, I like the sound the most I have to work harder and make a wonderful original guitar.

4. Edwin Martinez A rising star in the New York jazz world. * Edwin Martinez first came to Japan as a guitarist of Clark Duke Project of Live Under the Sky in 1981. The technique is a great word because it was chosen by genius bassist Stanley Clarke himself. What's more, it's a rising star that even vocalists can expect. He owns a lot of old, and even when compared with his favorite '54 model and '58 model, Tokai's ST80 / GS and ST50 / BB are acclaimed as perfect. He immediately gave me an exquisite combination with Stanley at the concert. According to him, the Rolling Stones, that Rolling Stones. There seems to be talk of participating in the tour. It seems that the time has come to support the world stage as TOKAI in the world.

5. Rick Nielsen. Old guitar collector Rick is now crazy about Tokai. This person, Rick Nielsen, who doesn't need to explain any more. Probably the number one old guitar collector in the world. As you know earlier in the previous catalog, he got the Tokai Tramoku standard model at Cheap Trick Japan performance. It's a normal story that seems to be everywhere up to that point, but it's hard because the important one was stolen in New York. I've done a lot of work here and there, but of course New York, which is famous for its criminal city, doesn't come out. Are you smart there? I thought that it would be better to order another Rick from Tokai rather than worrying about it, so l asked him to make it with a check. Surprisingly, I think there are many guitar freaks who think that musicians can get anything for free, but this is also the case. If you really like the guitar, you want to get it, this is what the musician really is. Oh, take off your hat to the great Rick. I'm so impressed that the eyeballs of lyawata Cine are checked. (Tokai staff who are very impressed) Of course, as a musician, his Udemae is a first-class guitarist who wants Hachamecha to continue to do his best.

6. Gene Parsons, a member of The Byrds, the creator of string vendors. A Tokai string vendor model that comes to rock musicians who are sick of dry guitars. Gene Parsons developed and completed this mechanism with genius guitarist Clarence White. He's now a recluse in Northern California, it's a wonderful extraordinary Casper, and he's working on this string vendor. He builds his own house, cracks maki, grows vegetables, and has a family that loves a self-sufficient life that is unimaginable in America today. His lifestyle his may be what we should imitate now. In Japan, Tokai has an exclusive contract with this string vendor, and orders have been received from each country under Jean. It's fun because the vendor of Banjiyo is also in the process of devising.

7. Nicholas Morlock. A young guitarist who has been attracting attention in the fusion world in the 1980s. Orange Express omnibus 81 Sadao Watanabe Nicholas Moroc (commonly known as Nick) who made his first visit to Japan as a tour member of the concert. Sadao Watanabe himself auditioned in New York and passed the audition, and although his technique his is young, he has already reached the stage of completion and is attracting attention from many fusion groups. Born in Yonkers in New York in 1955, he started playing the guitar when he was 3 years old, so the person at Achilla is Osoroshii. He has been based in New York for the first time after working in bands such as Stanley Clarke, Lenny White, Hugh Masakera, and city music male Michael Franks. He is one of the most promising fusion guitarists of the '80s. His favorite guitars are Tokai's ST Pink Special, LS100S / OR, and LS200V / VF. Especially for LS200V / VF, I bought it myself with a great deal of thought. In addition, I bought JB85 / FL metallic red (custom order) and PB80 / GS for the bassist in preparation for forming my own band in New York. I hope that he will come to us again with Tokai this time. Mr. Nick !!

8. Hellcats, New York. A hot new group that creates a whirlwind in the rock scene. Richie Ranno (GUITAR) Peter SCANCE (BASS) Hellcats, a hot new group that is currently attracting attention in the New York rock scene. Originally debuted as Stars and changed menmbers to become the current group. Its crisp rock'n'roll sound has become popular among New Yorkers. Richie Ranno on the guitar uses the Tokai TE70 / GS, and Peter Skans on the bass uses the Tokai original TXB / 130. I was deeply moved by the powerful words of Ritchie, who laughed and said, "I want a guitar that will be a part of my body for live musicians. "The hell cat (Hellcats) is about to change the New York rock scene. DON'T PERORIAN !! Because?

Others. For example, Christopher Cross bought a Tokai ST model at a musical instrument store in Shinjuku. When l opened the album jacket of a female vocalist, B. Johnson was shown with Tokai JB. A certain person asked me to sell Tokai JB to the bassist of E ・ W & FIRE in the United States, and he sold it comfortably. Suddenly, Jean Parsons sent a letter saying that he was happy to hear that the endorsement between Bobby Warford and Albert Lee's Tokai was taken. Information that makes me really happy is sent one after another. The Monkees, Peter Tork & New Monkees, who havejustrevived the other day, have just performed in Japan on Tokai's guitar, except for the drums. The San Francisco gal with the PB80 that appears frequently hasawide OTHERS world, and Tokai enthusiasts are endless musicians. This is also good.

Domestic musician information/junkal information
The unsung protagonists who support success stories.

1. PAPA (Junya Yokoyama & Toshiyuki Kasahara)
``Music guard for Kumiko Yamashita, the queen of heart-pounding school festivals. Kumiko Yamashita wears no bra, her heart is pounding, and she always does her best in a high mood. ``Stay Home on Rainy Days'' is also going great right now. The queen of school festival storms is now on the verge of becoming the queen of pop music. The way he played on stage was amazing! The guitarist and bassist used the Tokai again. For some reason, backing musicians and recording musicians have come to like Tokai as well. Kumiko's backing band ``Papa'' is also Tokai's favorite musician. Guitarist Junya Yokoyama plays an ES100/SB, and is currently asking Tokai for his own custom-made colored guitar. Bassist Kasahara loves VSB60 and CSR. This VSB series is very popular among studio musicians, and the mixed sound of the VS B80 is said to be especially great. Looking at the look in Kasahara-kun's eyes, it seems like he's asking for that base. "Wait." --As a pop singer, we can expect even more from Kumiko Yamashita in 1982.Let's all join in the sound of "Papa" on TV and on stage. In 1982, Kumiko was all standing.

2. Shinichi Tachikawa & Shingo Haruyama
A backing guitarist who follows cute singer-songwriter Takako Shirai. After the heart-throbbing Kumiko Yamashita, there is Takako Shirai, whose face and legs are soaring. He had a brilliant start as the first artist to be selected for CBS Sony's SD Audition. Nowadays, there are more and more female singer-songwriters, and I think it's great to have a cute girl. There are many singers who are just cute burikko burikko, but Shirai is a rare type of songwriter these days, who can write melodies with truly unusual developments and has a wide range of talent from up tempo to ballads. . She released her first album ``Do For Loving Everything Ai no Seiyo'' and began full-fledged stage activities. The presence of a guitarist and bassist who supports this slim and cute vocalist cannot be overlooked. Shinichi Tachikawa is a guitarist who continues to pursue his own sound style. He produced a splendid live work using VS100/CS and SS70/LBR Tokai guitars. Bassist Shingo Haruyama, who is only 20 years old, keeps a cool and tight rhythm despite his youth with the VSB 80/VFR, and you should keep an eye on him in.

3. The Exotics (Kazuhiko Shibayama & Naoya Yasuda)
A guitarist who supports superstar Kenji Sawada with his brilliant twin guitars. Kenji Sawada is a superstar. There are probably few singers in Japan who always rock as much as he does. It's been more than 10 years since the famous Tigers. I would like to dedicate the title of true King of Super Stars to this man who has single-handedly supported the Japanese music scene. His latest work, "STR IPPER" recorded in London, allows you to fully enjoy his charm. Expressing the world of men and women with dry, hard lyricism, the exotic stage is just as suspicious and gorgeous. He is building a world that only superstar Kenji Sawada can achieve. I'm sure many guitar freaks have seen it on TV or on stage, but the two guitarists from the backing band The Exotics are playing the ST80/MR and TE70/WR, known as the live guitar kings. The bright metallic red and wine red coloring really liven up Kenji Sawada's stage performance. Guitarist Kazuhiko Shibayama uses ST80/MR and ST80/GS, and Naoya Yasuda uses TE70-WR and LS120V/CS, respectively. He is as brilliantly determined as Kenji Sawada.

4. The Fuse (Kanji Machishi & Hiroaki Ezawa)
Two samurai supporting Shogo Hamada. Shogo Hamada, a hero who appeared after a long time in the 1980s. Takuro Yoshida's bag Debuted as a solo singer after joining the band ``Aiyako'' and steadily gained popularity. I've learned to be more careful and skillful. A unique and straight-forward poem A rock'n'roller who expresses the light and shadow of youth through Hamada's singing style. He's heading towards the big champion! He's in the shadows! Supporting players are Kanji Machishi, who plays lead guitar, and bassist. This is Hiroaki Ezawa, the guitar player. Melodious and lyrical lead Hamada is in charge of guitar and chorus arrangement. We have been together for a long time since I went solo. On the other hand, Hiroaki Ezawa Mayo Shono, known as a talented bassist after playing in Kai Band. A man who has been Tight and progressive bass sound is Hama He has become an indispensable presence for Shogo Ta. Kanji Machishi is TE 120・N, Hiroaki Ezawa has JB net on JB60・MRR, and VSB80・WR. Each uses a custom base with built-in sound. Future Hamada Ministry Please pay attention to my success and their sound.

Unique guitarists who pursue their own unique music path.

5. Yoshiaki Shirai (Moon Riders, etc.)
Yoshiaki Shirai? A. Brew? A heated battle of guitar performers. His base is the lead guitarist of Moon Riders, but he is known for his super perverted techniques from his numerous studio and session works. You've probably heard his sound at least once without realizing it. That's why he often collaborates with other musicians on albums. According to him, his desire to develop extraordinary playing techniques is astounding, as he has been training himself to achieve world peace through the use of the guitar. Even with this pen, I cannot express the joy I felt when I handed Adrian Belew the guitar ST80 MRR that he played during the studio rehearsal during the Talking Heads Japan performance as a monitor. In addition, he is surrounded by other Tokai guitars such as the Tokai original ZF Zebra model, TE70 and YS R, and is researching unprecedented techniques day and night.

6. Ginji Ogawa | Cross Window RC Succession
This man who has been with the new Cross Wind is not a free man. Techniques and sounds that you can't imagine from his gentle face. At RC, his outstanding combination work with Chavo shined, but now that he has formed the new Crosswind, Ginji is like a fish out of water and is working on the new album, freely using all kinds of playing methods and techniques. The release of this album will probably change the Japanese rock and sound scene greatly. He is also famous as a music magazine instructor, and I hope that he will be a big hit with Crosswind in 1982. The guitar he uses is a Tokai VS100 prototype. The quality of the materials and finish is top-notch since it was a guitar that didn't make it to the Frankfurt show! He himself has made some minor changes to it and uses it as his main guitar. There is also a sound clinic in this catalog, so please read carefully and study the sound creation of superstars.

7. Makoto Kubota `
`He is a pioneer of American rock, working hard as the leader and producer of the Sunsets. 7 Tokai and Makoto Kubota have had a long relationship. The first Tokai TE series is still being used with great care. Currently, he has formed Sunsets, with his wife, the extremely glamorous and captivating beauty Sandy on vocals and Kenichi Inoue on lead guitar, and is active on stage. My main guitar is the TE model because I love the dry yet straight American sound. Avalon Pearl's cell binding specification TE120/YSR is my current favorite. ``Guitar is something that you want to use with care,'' he says quietly, and you can clearly see the sense of humor in his words, and Sunsets is a wonderful and gentle supporter of guitar makers and guitarists. . I'm really happy to know what kind of music they'll entertain us with in 1982. I wonder if it's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.

8. Tomiaki Hidaka
Tommy is famous not only as a guitarist but also as an old guitar critic. A musician who made a huge contribution to the production of Tokai electric guitars. He is widely active as an old guitar collector and critic. Recently, ``Mama Dou'' has also been formed. He is feeling passionate about his music activities after a long absence. His favorite guitar is the standard model, and his passion for it is unparalleled. He has a deep knowledge of not only original models but also copy models, and the guitar he chose with his discerning eye was the Tokai LS200V/VF. In addition to these, there are several Tokai LSs that I always use.

OTHERS
Here are some stories about Tokai guitars:

① Twist disbanded with some regrets. Both Mr. Sera and Mr. Sakumoto are big Tokai fans, and Mr. Sera in particular had a great passion for the LS200V/VF, as he has the original standard. Mr. Sakumoto also joined Twist in the latter stages, but he did his best in the later stages with VS60/CS, LS200V/OS, TV, etc.

②Suzuki-kun of the backing band, how did Osamu-san from Bonchi change? I used to play a lot of guitars, Tokai original models, and even appeared on TV. The world is interesting. Naturally, since this was a guitar that was not sold in Japan, I inquired. I even received a phone call.

③Oh yeah, Mr. Kobayashi of Cross Wind, I couldn't get a big picture because I couldn't get the photo in time. Next time I will put it together with my favorite VSB80, so please forgive me.

④The person who deserves to end the show is none other than Chabo, the representative of rock'n'roll guitar born in Japan. The performance of the encore song ``Ameagari no Yozora ni'' on the TE70/WR always touches my heart. RC Succession, equal to Japan's Rolling Stones, Reiichi Nakaido (Chavo) equal to Keith Richard, and now we have a custom model made for Chavo next year. nice to meet you!

Before I knew it, I was living in music. Before we knew it, the guitar had become part of our wardrobe. All youth culture can no longer be thought of in isolation from music. There is no doubt that the new youth culture of the future will be born with music at its core. Sometimes just one guitar can change the world. Maybe the other one is asleep. To discover a new version of yourself, to live your life rhythmically, try out revolutionary super goods and try to reinvent yourself. This special feature is a must-read music innovation file in order to build a new lifestyle.

A proposal for the music lifestyle of the '80s.

SONY

Humanity is a man, a woman, and a Walkman.
WALKING STEREO with HEADPHONES WALKMAN
Black black Red Red Silver
SONY MAOI WALKMAN!!
We are Music, Sony
Stereo cassette player WM-2 ¥32,000 (stereo headphones MDR-4LIS, carrying case with shoulder strap, battery case included).

INNOVATION 1

``Love Me Do'' was the trigger for the culture shock. In 1962, it happened. The sound of four young people from Liverpool sent the world into a panic of unprecedented culture shock. It had a shocking influence on music, fashion, hairstyles, thought, and even art, changing everything. These rock'n'roll kings have been called the Bachs of the 20th century, and have established a musical identity by producing not only rock but also a wide range of expressive and progressive sounds. This also established the status of all musicians. You should definitely listen to their great "creation" at least once.

INNOVATION 2

Multiplex broadcast of action “Birth of Honda CITY” From now on, we will live in an era where play and thinking will be multiplied and the radius of action will be expanded. If you have one of these, you can even go to a rock concert! When you make friends with a girl you like, you can run on city roads with this one, and go on secret roads that no one knows about with a motocompo! GO! GO! GO! Guitar and this one! It would be great if I had a girlfriend.

Not for sale! Tokai & Gatorade commemorative bottle.

INNOVATION 3

Before I knew it, the musicians' feet had changed from London boots to sneakers. Back in the day, musicians wore slim jeans and London boots. The Union Jack one was especially great. In the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, there was a small revolution at the feet of three musicians. Sneakers can now be said to be the symbol of modern musicians.

"THE VINTAGE - Irresistible sophistication and style." Oh, and the mini car is the Enya Cola. This is also a 10m backward running toy and revolution.

INNOVATION 4

The Walkman, a stereo that started walking around the world. The star-shaped Walkman is one of the three major cultural revolutions among young people. I still remember the shock I felt when I got this thing. It is no exaggeration to say that this revolutionary stereo device, which does not select TPO, is a symbol of the 20th century. What are the other two cultural revolutions? It depends on your sensibilities. Oh yeah, I forgot. In the world of electric guitars, the Tokai SS38 is the best, and the Walkman is the best.

INNOVATION 5

Jeans brought human history up-tempo. Jeans are a must for musicians. I cannot accept jeans that are wrinkled or shabby. Once upon a time, they were mainly used for practical purposes, but now they are also used as fashion pants by rock musicians. It's already too late to worry about your dirty jeans. Nowadays, there are fewer and fewer jeans made in the USA, so the monophone I would like to recommend is Lee Jeans. Corduroy is also available. But I definitely don't want to become a member of the Crystal Tribe.

INNOVATION 6

Thus, the greatest innovators may be women. Is history created at night? Perhaps the greatest innovators are women. This guy is a formidable enemy. It's always fluffy and fluffy, but it never shows its true nature. Never let your guard down until you grasp the essence of it. Since God created Adam (a man) and Eve (a woman) in this world, various revolutions have occurred. The 1980s was the era of strong men. I want them to use their independence to confuse the enemy. Take hold of your dreams with your own hands! And once you have confirmed each other's true nature, I want you to love each other with all your heart. Isn't that what Kiyoshiro-dono also said?

It's easy to wear, so you'll look even hotter. It's this quintessentially American look that has made Lee the idol of the jeans crowd. Relaxed cutting. Sturdy stitching... The more you dig into it, the more the softness and flavor will come out. Born in Kansas City in 1889. In other words, authentic.

Tokai thorough research A guitar that I use casually. As a musician, I think it's important to sometimes go back to the roots and experience the essence of guitar making. How does one guitar include so many elements in its production? The Tokai Factory product line contains the interesting truths and secrets.

① The path to making a single guitar is truly long. The memorable first step begins with this natural drying.

●Natural drying
Precious guitar materials such as curly maple, alder, mahogany, and wood collected from all over the world are first air-dried (natural drying) in order to make them the best materials for guitar breading once the log oil is finished. I'm going on a long journey. This is an extremely important process that reduces the ``free water'' in the wood to a moisture content of 18% or less. The material is exposed to Hamamatsu's famous haizumi (Japanese palm seed) for about 2 to 5 years, and then allowed to cool down from the guitar, and then artificially dried for about 1 to 2 weeks using strong heat and Chinese air. "Bound water attached to the structure of wood"

It's for taking a peek. The staff in charge are always in a battle with the instruments. Tramok is especially carefully performed. This is because if the material is not properly dried naturally, the artificial drying process will cause the material to be severely damaged and will be rejected as a musical instrument material. It also became common knowledge that it is basic to dry only the same ingredients by hand. Seasoning/Now it's time to season. Made from materials that have been artificially dried or are in the middle of wood processing. enters the seasoning room, which is constantly air-conditioned. This room, which is kept at a constant temperature of 20℃ and humidity of 35%, is called the Tokai California Room. The standard equilibrium moisture content is 7-8%, making it the perfect wood material for musical instruments.

② Only those selected from many materials are given the right to become a guitar.

●Wood Check & Body Neck Material Composition
Seasoned ingredients are subjected to strict checks for board, wood grain, texture, kusare, etc., and then processed. Only carefully selected materials are accepted as guitar materials and left as body and neck materials. This is the first Shirano book matched 2-piece maple top, ST, TE, PB, JB, etc. 2-piece alder body, mahogany peace neck, maple peace neck, etc. Body constructions Now, it's finally time to see the construction and neck construction etc. The process finally begins with the body, then moves on to guitar processing, guitar processing, and neck processing. ・The neck joint of the LS series, which is popular among ultra spiders. 1m/m Perfect fit without slipping. Lee. Kozanji N routers are available all over the world. I've used it so far as a guitar factory. It is also the first time in the world that all the members have gathered together. ``

③ ``NC Router'' This is an amazing machine that changed the conventional wisdom of guitar making around the world. It's a computer-controlled dimensional router.

● Amazing body coloring / unrivaled accuracy and overwhelming precision
``NCI router'' This numerical control router allows you to control not only the LS and LC series, but also all series such as ST, SS, TE, PB, and B. It transcends time and comes back to life vividly. With the introduction of this ``Nowadays Router,'' which can process not only outer circumferences and holes, but also three-dimensional parts, high-performance vintage models have been born one after another, making it truly the home of high-quality models. Of course, Tokai was the first company in the world to manufacture a guitar using this NC router. The body thus completed was then modified by experienced craftsmen to create a perfect, highly precise guitar, and the neck joint was completed. Neck Loe & Joint/The neck recommended in parallel is the mahogany peace neck that Tokai used for the first time in Japan. This neck, which has a head angle of 18 and no heel joint, is extremely difficult to machine, and after the truss rod gusset is precisely set, each grip is shaped by the delicate hands of a craftsman using chisels, Nankin planes, small knives, etc. The pieces are finished using well-used tools such as wood sanders and wood chips. And the mouth fingerboard is laminated and has a perfect joint with the body. On the other hand, maple peace necks such as ST, SS, TE, PB, and JB are one of the super necks that require a high level of skill. In particular, Tokai has perfected four types of necks: maple loopy necks, including maple fingerboards, flat rose fingerboard laminate necks, and rose round fingerboard laminate necks. There is no other place in the world that is as faithful to the traditional model as this one and also has Thai variations, so it can be said that Tokai is unique. Next, we move on to the painting process, which is the highlight of our technology

Scan 1 20.jpeg

④ Painting determines half of the completeness of a guitar. The craftsman's dedication to coloring and finishing is amazing.

●Special Old Finish

Painting not only protects the guitar, but also expresses its beauty as a musical instrument. Tokai uses three methods to recreate the old colors:

(1) polyurethane finish,
(2) lacquer finish, and
(3) cashew finish.

In particular, the lacquer finish and cashew finish have a warm and unique special finish that boasts a taste, beauty, and protection that even threatens traditional models.

The VF color of the LS series, which has become a hot topic among old fans, is a tasteful color with a lemon drop on the sunburst part that changes over time, which is unique to vintage models, and is reproduced with a secret color combination and finish.

In addition, in the ST, TE, PB, and JB series, subtle coloring changes from the 1950s to the 1960s are beautifully reproduced for both the neck and body. This is where the results of thorough analysis and research of the traditional model appear. Tokai's entire series has a luxurious and special hold color finish that cannot be imitated anywhere else.Starting in ‘82, five special colors have been added, making them even more appealing.

⑤ The goal is in sight. Careful fret finishing and assembly. It must be perfect!

●Buffling~Assemble~Complete.
Now that the guitar has been painted, it goes through wet sanding, buffing, etc. to give it a shiny finish, and the final step is parts installation and assembly. Of course, strict checks and extreme care were taken, and the process progressed until it was finally completed. The above is a simple explanation of the process, but there are still many detailed operations and processes involved. A single guitar is born out of a workload that would probably be too much to write about even if I devoted all my time to it. I hope you will take good care of it, sharpen your musical mind, and create even more wonderful sounds through this instrument.

●ES series...
The /ES series was born on a completely different production line from the LS and LC series. Each guitar is painstakingly crafted one by one using advanced technology and craftsmen's long-standing know-how in making guitars. Since it has the same structure as a so-called box guitar, the finish of the body construction with the arched top, back, and sides is the deciding factor. The ES Jazz and ES Rock models are truly handcrafted. Color: It is wrapped in a special old finish of rich Tokai Red (TR), natural (N) that makes the best use of the materials, and black sunburst (SB) that perfectly reproduces the traditional color tone, and is waiting for its turn on the hot music scene.

⑥ Now, what kind of guitarists and musicians will you meet? I sincerely want to be cherished and loved for a long time.

●After inspection and shipping/final checks, each guitar is carefully packed in its own special carton and shipped. The company has a comprehensive network for guitar freaks, centered on five sales offices across the country: Tokyo, Osaka, Chubu, Kyushu, and Hokkaido. In addition, export models are shipped all over the world from Tokai USA and Tokai AG (Netherlands).

Tokai is the official name. ----"Tokai Musical Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd." In fact, they are a comprehensive musical instrument manufacturer that makes not only electric guitars, but also piano light pianos, harpsichords, banjos, chroma harps, pianicas, harmonicas, and even cat's eye guitars.

●''Tokai is a comprehensive musical instrument manufacturer'' and ``Everything from baroque to rock." -----
