I can’t read or decipher a single word in Japanese, so knowing the specs or price in dollars on these is very frustrating. And I’m too old to start learning the language now… or I would certainly try!

If you are into Japanese guitars, it really helps to be able to be able to traslate Japanese, since that is the source of most of the information on them.

It's currently at 91,000 yen. ~147yen/$US=$620. Shipping will likely add about $125-150. Anything under $800 would probably be ok for me (but I gotta stop buying......... someday LOL)

Did you see all of the damage?

Headstock blown out where someone replaced the tuners or it suffered an impact it looks like.



And there is a void in the neck like the wood was rotted (or crushed). Never seen that before.

I've noticed the the prices for used Tokai & Greco gold tops have shot up recently. This one looks like it has water damage so the neck could be even worse than it appears. It's a risky proposition in my opinion.

I didn't check the pix carefully, since I'm wasn't really in the market for yet another one. I'm actually heading to Japan in a couple weeks, so planning to check some vintage/used music stores while in country. We'll see what pops up!
