What model is this? I've not seen one like it.
 
Lord only knows (is it even a real Tokai ?) but if it's one of the models made for the North American market, he's lying when he says it's made in Japan. Screw adjust bridge, three screw truss rod cover and cream rear covers are all Korean made traits. Fact! The lower horn is a crap shape and it has an aweful looking headstock. Also, as a Korean built model, it will not have "solid mahogany neck and body" at all, it'll be much cheaper wood, and the "AAAAA real flame maple top" will be a venear. A Japanese made Tokai (even the lowest Japanese made one) would be at more than just $280 with only 3 hours or so to go ;)
 
Thanks, I didn't think it was Japanese. I didn't think it likely I'd snag anything worthwhile at a low price with how well known Tokais are, so I didn't bid.
