I love seeing all the gorgeous guitars everyone has...but I always wish I could hear what they sound like. So I thought I would start a thread to post video clips. It would be great to hear what you guys play whether it's your band or just in your home studio. If you can, include gear used.

I'll start...here goes

Go easy on me ;) , I'm no shredder and realize I have a ways to go in my playing. So don't blast me too badly :D

Child of the King - me jamming with some older guys in a gospel blues band
1979 eg900 - stock dimarzios, 70s mxr distortion, borrowed mesa mark iv

One Way Ticket - same guys
1980 super real se800, Ibanez ts9, marshall class 5

Perfect - me accompanying a girlfriend on her song
1979 eg900 - PU2 pickups swapped in, 60's vox student amp

Thanks man! Back at you...that SG Jr sounds awesome! I want to get one myself but am a bit afraid of just having one bridge pickup and sounding thin. But that sounds nice and fat...tasty licks as well

Your bearded friend's singing voice reminds me of Johnny Winter.

I've found mountains of valuable info browsing this forum so thank you very kindly for that. I play in a band called Watts from Boston MA USA and we are huge Greco fans. Here's a clip with 2 of our 4 Greco guitars in it. An '86 SA64-60 and a Rocjet replica...not sure what that model is.

Thank man! I really appreciate it! Kirsten is a good songwriter and it's fun to noodle over her songs.

Seriously just buy a class5...don't think, just buy. You won't regret it. It is such a great amp that gets LOUD. Strats, teles, les pauls, all sound great through it. In fact it's the only amp I have that works with my Fender Tele. It was on like 2 in that video...cranked it's classic bluesbreaker and loud enough for small clubs, empty ones at least like I play in.

And regarding the pu2 pickups...they do sounds good. But the best thing about them for me is they sound unique at breakup unlike your average pickup. I rank the original stock dimarzios higher though.

Watts does rock! Great tone! Is that a Peavey Classic 50? What pedals? What pickups in the Grecos?

welcome Dan ! :D your band rocks. good to see you on here. Very nice Grecos and I also use a Reverend Hellhound amp.great minds think alike

Thanks gents!

LarryC, this is John B. I'm not sure if Dan comes on here. Thanks for the welcome either way!

bmarsh, I'm not sure which pickups are in our Greco's. I believe they are stock. I only use a Fulltone Fulldrive2. My amp is a classic 50. Not a bad amp for small money. Dan has the Reverend head and a custom made 2-12 cab.

ok John!,sorry,I assumed it was Dan,who I'm friends with on facebook.Either way, keep on rockin' it out. If you ever come down to Philly, let us know :D
