VGS by TOKAI ?????

i ve been surfin on songbird music web site and they have this telecaster copy labeled VGS by Tokai.

Anybody knows anything about those guitars, like where they have been produced and when and are they just low-end wanna be Tokai guitars????

It is not a Tokai.
Tokai doesn't give away any rights for licence.

Hmm, strange, never heard of VGS. The guitar has the correct Fender shape headstock which would make it an 80's or early 90's guitar (if it's Tokai parts!). The bridge seems to be the six saddle TE-50 bridge, you can see it's also stamped TOKAI if you look closely:

But if this guitar isn t from Tokai, you think it is some kind of fake??? and how comes peoples from songbird music wouldn t have noticed before....
anyway dosen t really looks to the usual Tokai quality craftmenship.
