I'm interested in the Faber tone lock tailpiece and I don't know if the tailpiece in my LS150 would need the metric or inch version of their kit.

Anyone know?

I installed the tail piece a couple weeks ago on a LS100Q and the metric fit up perfectly.. Same for the locking bridge too.

what's the deal with the locking bridge too?

How does it help the tone and or sustain? I was considering the pre-cut titainium saddles. with the kts bridge

I'm not sure if I'd need the PR01 set or the nashville set... I'm naturally assuming the PR01 but I could be wrong.

This Faber bridge assembly locks down the bridge frame thereby aiding the vibration transfer to the body. As well, it anchors the bridge saddles thru the mechanical assembly / frame. The anchored bridge will then create a solid end point for the vibrating string - though I cannot say what effect that may really have. My Faber bridge is metric with brass saddles, as I believe the Gibson orginals are. This uses the stock supplied bridge posts; the Faber locking screw nuts are a match for the metric threaded posts. Faber does offer titanium saddles also.
Check out both product lines so you can make the best decision for your cause.
Overall, I am pleased with this set up. Oh, are you getting the aluminum stop piece ? It helped to balance some of the guitar rear heavy issue.
