Finally, I'm a proud owner of a LS-85F VF, but I had to wait for more than a year.
I wanted a Matte Violin Finish, but could only get a Violin Finish. :(
I've been a little busy, so hadn't played has much as I wanted.
Only thing that I've noticed is some fret buzz, but I think a setup will solve it.

Here's a picture:

I'm already thinking to do some mods. CTS pots, Faber Kit, remove the pickguard, switchcraft.
I've read that Page was a pull pot for serial and parallel wiring. I was also thinking about doing the same to mine.

What else can I do the improve the tone or which mods could I perform?

Hi heartbreaker!

Gorgeous flames on your 85! Congratulations!

I'd suggest that you set her up yourself, it's not rocket-science and it will give you a much better understanding of your lady.

You just have to be careful and think before you act. You can get very good guidelines on many places on the web.

Enjoy her! Rup

Hi Heartbreaker and wellcome!

I had the same situation six months ago. Check this thread:

Enjoy it.
