Pots and caps

Thanks Stratman. Hopefully someone will add their .02 at some point. :wink: I also have an Epi LP Jr. that just has 2 500K pots in it with no cap and it has a lot of bite, but it pales in comparison with the Edwards as far as construction and quality goes.

 

[Lowdown]

Coming back in from the dead here,but it's quite common practice to replace that 500k tone pot with a 250-300k,which the Jrs originally had installed anyway.
This will have more of an affect on your tone and give you the results your after than a cap,which will only be of any help if you use and ride your controls(of which the majority of modern day players do not-unfortunately).
