Hey all, my LS-150 looks like I had a mouse living in it - wiring all over the place. I got a new set of soviet pio caps I'm gonna put in and thought I'd clean up the other wiring while I'm at it. My question is about the ground wire going around the pots using 50's style set-up. What kind of wire should I use for this? From most pics I've seen, it appear to be a solid-core wire. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've used anything from a paper clip or two, to stripped solid core copper wire. You just need a solid conductive path.

Having said that, it's not the best way to ground the circuit from a hum-rejecting standpoint. But, it's authentic and historic, and it usually doesn't make a huge difference.

Look up "star grounding" if you're interested..
