MK2S pickups?

can someone tell the difference between MK2 and MK2s pickups?
What pickups will my 2009 LS85GT have?

Never heard of that before.... perhaps it's plural for the two pickups as in
"it has MK2's in it"

No difference.

Your 2009 LS85 GT will have MK3's in it.
They're not bad, but MK2's are much better.

Are you sure about the MK3's ?

Where did you get the info?

With your guitar it's possible that it has MK2's, but there's a chance it has MK3's.

Catalogue 23 shows an LS75 GT with MK3's.
Catalogue 24 shows an LS85 GT with MK2's.

Check the output of your pickups, MK2's have a lower output, around 7.5 and 8.5, MK3's are higher.

I brought my LS230 in to get a setup and after reading my pickups the Luthier said my neck was at 7.6 and the bridge was at the 11 mark. Is this normal or has someone changed the pickups? They should be the normal MK II right?

Looks like normal Keyio MK II pickups

Thanks. I always thought they were more vintage voiced and that the read on the bridge would be much lower. I always thought the neck pickup was great and that the bridge had a little too much bite even on the clean sounds. It makes sense more now.
