The specs are wrong in that Reverb listing. Seems to have been cut and pasted from somewhere else.

TPB = Hard Puncher (Precision Bass)

55 usually would refer to the price in yen, 55,000 but that seems low for a new MIJ Tokai.

And no idea what "A2" would mean.

By the way, Mr Adachi is no longer the president of Tokai. I don't believe he was in 2022. Company was sold in January of 2022.

Not sure where they got that COA with his signature on it?

And the model is clearly TPB55 on the certificate. No "A2" written on it.

This is the same model being sold in Jakarta, Indonesia.

So the "A2" is probably a store inventory number from the first listing. An error that was repeated over and over by people cut and pasting the same description.

The Reverb listing had the controls and the color wrong in the description.

It is a 2022 TPB55 in Olympic White color (OWH) with a rosewood fretboard (R).

The A2 means nothing.

Here are the specs for the TPB55 taken from a Nafiri listing for a similar bass.

So looks like they are all around the same price. I would bet that the Tokai would be set up better and play better right away. The Tokai pickup may need to be replaced? Those are the least expensive pickups Tokai offers, MK4. With the Fender you get the Fender logo.
