Following up on my previous post about replacing the bridge on my LS-80, I have looked at the various options, including the Faber ABR. It is still not clear to me if I have to replace the studs in my guitar to use the Faber Tone Lock bridge, or if I can simply place it over my existing studs and use the 4mm lock on those studs. Has anyone done this change? What exactly is required for me to replace the existing bridge with the Faber Tone Lock? I really do not want to have to change the original studs if I don't have to.

Thanks
Tim

No need for ABR posts change on your Tokai.
The Faber Locking bridge comes with a pair inch and metric sleeve nuts/collars.

Thanks Man

I talked to Larry Corsa at C*V Guitars and he was very helpful with my choice. So I ordered the Faber Tone Lock with natural brass saddles. Will be interesting to hear how much they change or improve the sound. :)
