This guy seems to selling wrongly described details, very suss...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...Sell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget

He's calling it a Super Real and then says its from 1982!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...Sell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget

This guy calls it a Burny, but the headstock says Greco! Anyone buying this would think they got a VH1 humbucker but could end up with a something else as the two pups are different from each other.

Bid at ur own risk!

Thats a 1982 Mint Collection EG68-50 "LP Custom" for sure, but the "Super Real" trussrod cover was used on quite a few of those. Its even in the catalogs of the era, so likely IS stock. Since that Custom has fret edge binding it is likely a leftover Super Real era neck anyway. (I base this statement on a comment Villager posted a while back, and he knows his stuff) The second guitar is likely a 90s era MIK Greco with a Tokai Loverock trussrod cover

Another dodgily described ebay listing

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...Sell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget

Describes it as late 70s to early 80s guitar and says it has no serial number...hmmm

Further says its an EBony fretboard series and later in the list of descriptions says its a rosewood fingerboard.

Makes me wonder about all the other guitars his is selling, I'd hate to purchase a Burny guitar with VH 1 Hbs based on the reliability of his descriptions.

Gosh, wats with ebay sellers these days!!

Hello Fiftywatt,

Do you think that the '82 Greco Custom is a "good deal"?

Best regards,

Dirk
