Can somebody help me with specifications about this guitar type?
I bought it from local music shop and it was marked as breezysound ate-70? It's brand new, cost 600e, made in Japan, not very heavy body and neck fits well - I guess C-type. I haven't found any information from the net, only few pictures.. And another guestion, where they mark tokai guitars serial numbers? I also have Tokai Lp85SMBBE, great guitars!

link to see guitar, not mine but same type:

Basswood body with a laminated rosewood veneer on these (I seem to recall reading it's a "photo" rosewood finish?). Have a peep inside to see. No serial is normal, but the logo and "wrong" headstock shape date it as 1984 onwards. Possibly not an ATE-70 - haven't heard of one of the rosie models being anything like that expensive (TE50 ish) apart from the early 1-piece ash ones. Togps can likely help!

We need to see pics of your guitar to identify it. There might be detailed differences between your guitar & the one in the pic that you haven't noticed.

And it's only a few days since we saw a fake Tokai very similar to this.

Thank you for information.
Hope that my guitar is even tokai..
Anyway it is good instrument but I still don't wanna be cheated by music shop.

Well I contacted the local seller and they were sure it's orginal.
They give me contact to Finnish tokai importer shop
www.musamaailma.fi
which I think is reliable author. Importer reminds the model, imported this year and only 10 units to Finland.
They say the guitar is special model ATE 70rr made in Japan and can't be found at common manufacture models catalogs:
maple neck, alder body with rosewood laminate top&back and rosewood fretboard. These guitars can be found either maple or rosewood fretboard.
I also asked for serial number and how can I prove it's original and the answear was there's no serial number and that the receipt is guarantee.
Well, what can I say.. Because it's good sound&touch guitar I believe it's orginal or it has to be real great fake?! It was way better than mexican fenders and as good as american standard but half cheaper..
Maybe I post few pictures someday if I have time to take photosession.

Has anyone actually played one of the SEB love rocks side by side with a non SEB model to see what type of real world difference there is with this new construction method?

Wouldn't you be better off asking this question in a thread about Les Pauls? This is a thread about Teles!
