I love the look and simplicity of these guitars, but I've only seen them on the Taniguchi-Gakki site, and as far as I know they dont ship internationally (please correct me if I'm wrong). Anybody know where I might pick one up...

I imported this beauty from Ishibashi (and had to pay another ?200 in tax and duty).It's virtually unplayed, still has the plastic on the guards and back-plates. Im looking for ?800, this includes standard parcel-post within Europe,If you want it faster you will have to pay extra. [email protected]...

Do yourself a favour and check out Pete Biltofts pickups at vintagevibeguitars.com .I put a set in my last Tokai and they are the best sounding pickups I've ever heard live, nevermind owned.He will build them to your specifications, and get this, he wont ask what winding or guage you want...

You can now get an LS90, or in my case, a lefty LS95

wow, a lot of money for a bit of varnish and recycled coke-cans :o I cant play guitars with nitro finishes, it reacts with the heat & perspiration from my hands and blooms when I've been playing for a long time, the back of the neck becomes very sticky :cry:

I'm sure it will be worth the wait, lets just hope the customs dont notice them coming through! :wink:

Hans, there does'nt seem to be a huge difference between the guitars in specifications, and I like the look of the sycamore top more, so why the 30% difference in price?

The LS125 and the LS95 seem to be two totally different colours, but the catalouge says they are both violin-finish, would this be the difference between the maple and sycamore?

I was originally told my LS95 would be ready end of Feb, start of March, but now I'm told April.Although being a lefty I'm used to this sort of thing, I just hope that quality does'nt suffer to facilitate quantity!

....anybody got any pictures of what to expect? I have had Tokais before, A MIJ Gold-top and a MIK Firebird, so I know what the quality is like.I have seen various photos of LS60's, 70's, 80's and the flames seem to differ greatly from one guitar to the next, or am I just looking at bad photo's...

I've had my Tokai Gold-Top about 2 years now that I bought second-hand off e-bay.The guy told me it was a LS60, but I've just been reading the Tokai registery page on dating guitars and it seems mine was made in 2002, but the LS60 was'nt available then? The serial number is; 0205612 Any help?

I have'nt got a scales, but to me it feels very close to my Strat in weight, in fact it plays a lot like a Strat in feel and comfort, but it's a lot hotter! :D
