    Tokai ES 120/100

    I've got an ES120 and it's excellent.Played quite a few Gibbo's some good ,some bad (twice the price) and couple of great examples (four times the price!) :( .Overall the Toks are great value nicely finished and easy on the pocket! :)

    duty on gear from japan

    Hi Rick,I've messed around with different wiring and pickups on strats and came to the same conclusions as Lasher ,.022caps and 250k pots. I have one strat with Kinman and one with Fralin pickups, both totally different, but both sets have quality tone (worth checking out) pb

    Hi Ian old chap,no problem. :D Bill Nelson,now there's a name from the past!,not my cup of Earl Grey but some great solos especially on Maid in Heaven :) His son is by all accounts a bit of a fine 'shredder' (oh dear!) :roll: The OBG is a damned fine guitar nearly as good as my Tokai ES120...

    ORVILLE BY GIBSON or TOKAI?

    Hi Shaunfreak,Orville by Gibson are high end replicas with Gibson pickups, hardware and nitro finish.Orville on the other hand are the lower spec models ie japanese pickups,hardware and poly finish (still well made though!). :) Mickey where you at, I'm from just down the road in Darlo. pb
