I just got my hands on a TSG 60 from the early 1980s, which I will review in detail and post an article on soon. It has a 17 degree headstock angle like the original SG from the early 1960s. But I am curious - is the TSG headstock scarfjointed? Were the Love Rocks scarfjointed?

I have a 1985 Tokai TSG-60, in cherry, and it does not have a scarf joint, it's a 1 piece mahogany neck, no headstock ears, no heel cap - 1 whole piece.

The only Tokais I have seen with a scarf joint are Korean or Chinese.

Correcting my previous statement. It was too broad..

I have seen what were apparently Japanese made Cat's Eyes with a scarf joint (Terawaki plant) and some concorde headstock Custom Edition (JSR) guitars from the 80s with scarf joints, but no Gibson clones.

I will keep my eyes open for them, but I don't think I ave seen any.
