Just bought my first Tokai. A UAL55 in Snow White. So pleased with the tone. Lots of dynamics tone in the humbuckers.

That’s an interesting guitar. That’s not listed as a color option for Les Paul Standards in the 2015 and 2017 catalogs as far as I can see.

I’m wondering if it’s a limited or special run like one of these?

The guitar it is a copy of a small run of 1980s Gibson Les Paul Standards. I think they were called Alpine white?

I am curious where you got the UAL55 model number from?

It should be ULS or ALS or UALS then the price in yen.

The "U" or "A" indicates the modified headstock with what we call the "export dimple" that tells us it was made to be sold in Europe (U) or America (A) or similar markets. And LS for Les Paul of course.
