Hi

Ive been comparing my recently acquired LS-150 ( 2005 ) with my mates Les Paul Goldtop 57 reissue.

The Tokai is as good in every way as far as I can tell.

The neck profile is very different as uyoud expect - 57 Goldtops had much thinner necks than 59 standards.
But it got me wondering - just how close a replica of the 59 standard is the LS150 ? How closely modelled on the 59 Paul is the LS150 neck. ?

Any thoughts ?

Pete

There was some discussion about this previously. The '59 neck profiles actually varied quite a bit. I think a LS150 would be a fair approximation of a typical '59 profile.

cheers
How close an approximation of a typical 59 is a good Love Rock - it plays really well and sounds every bit as good as the Gibson standard IMO.

The Neck ...well, its chunky - but not as chunky as my 76 Firebird ! - thats like a baseball bat !

Rgds
Pete
