Goldstar fret marker dots

I've got dots before me eyes

I've noticed a couple of Goldies on here recently sporting odd 12th fret marker dot spacing.

There was one with a rosewood neck posted by doudoubass, has 80 sticker on back of the neck. It has the wide dot spacing.

There was one with a one-piece maple neck posted by mick 600. It has the close dot spacing same as (incorrect) Fender reissues.

I've never seen this before in seven or eight years of Tokai-spotting 8)

I see another RW fingerboard with wide spaced 12th fret marker dots on the ST-60 posted by muccax.
