Any excuse to post my beauty...strange, but such is the magic of the EGF-1200, I can't imagine parting with it...any other, perhaps yes (after waving off so, so many over so many years...), but the 1200 not only looks sensatiional, but gives you 'the' definitive Les Paul tone.....

...how do I feel now now about my EGF-1200?

....much the same really, which is odd, as like everyone else on the forum I suspect, I usually start looking elsewhere after a few weeks/months with any axe, but not with this one. Why? Here are some reasons:

- unbeliveable tone - try the bridge to neck pickup flick - beautiful!

- great player - stays in tune too - unusual for an LP in my opinion

- still looks gorgeous - breathtaking in the flesh

- feels 'special' - the 'real deal' - very authoratative, and charismatic

- the mojo is 100% intact!

How's that?

r u a member of the LPF or MYLPF? thought i have seen you there
before or something........MYLPF has the replica/copy section so
i am sure your gtr will make em all crazy giving em GAS...........

I feel the same as snakehips...still love it as much as the day I bought it!

I did get a Greco strat that I am playing more nowadays but
the sunburst lady is locked and loaded and ready to go when I play out,
which is not that often,but I think it deserves to be seen and heard,so I
use it live,mainly for the sound,the strat is harder to control,it's a beast with the single coils and high gain.though I may
go strictly with the strat next gig.It's a challenge but worth it..
I don't really like changing guitars when I play out,unless I break a string,
but I've yet to break one on either guitar! I probably should have kept
my EG LP Custom for gigging,hmmm ,must go shopping


I did take it to Guitar Center for kicks one day..
a few guys who I know that work there played it
and liked it alot but they still were surprised
to hear how much they are going for.They are more
familiar with the low end models that come in occasionally...
