Confusion over 1978 Tokai Silver Star

Hi there, I am new to joining this forum however i have been looking around here for a while!

I have the chance to buy a Silver Star From 1978, it has imprinted onto the Fretboard 38 which would make it a SS-38 however it also has Brass Saddles and a brass nut which i thought only came on the higher end models.
it is Olympic White with a Maple Board. Do all these features seem correct for a '78 SS-38?

I took a couple of photos which I shall try and upload ASAP.

on reflection it may have even been 36 on the fretboard not 38, sorry the pictures are not fantastic I was quite short on time.

The Guitar is in really great condition and doesn't look to have been played much at all.
