Breezysound Decals: Gold, Silver, Bigger, Smaller?

Who can kindly elucidate us on the seeming variations on Breezysound spaghetti decals? Some are gold, others silver, some smaller, others larger. Thanks!

That’s a good question. I had never paid attention.

I remember reading that with basses the color related to model, but looking at catalogs it looks like before model year 1981 they were gold.



And in the 1981 flat top catalog they are silver.

Also note that there are reproduction decals out there which can be confusing.
