It's the new digital station that has replaced the popular Bird Song test transmission on DAB radios, and the playlist is compiled from tracks uploaded to the Amazing Tunes website.

So, I uploaded a tune a few weeks ago and they played it on Amazing radio today. I've no idea what the listening figures are, but hey it was a Tokai Goldstar on national radio :)

Are you guys in the Uk still listening to the radio often like the old days?
I think that's very cool personally. a good old culture! I listen to the AFN (American Forces Network) radio anywhere I go. In Japan, today only some people listen to the music programs on FM and the AM stations are just all stupid people talk shows all day. In USA, people play the FM radio in the car whenever they are driving and there are too many groovy stations there really. I never needed the CD/casette player when I was there coz too many funky radio stations available. This is the old stuff talk but are there still many good old music shows on the radio in the UK today? like Blues and Jazz things?? Sorry if this subject is too old!

I used to listen to this show by Paul Jones with his hour of rhythm and blues, but it seemed like every week some old blues veteran had died and then he'd cue up a load of gospel stuff with a 'message' :-?

I will be listening to the Jack Bruce session on August 3rd, I think he's still a great performer. That program will be available for online listening via the BBC iPlayer for a week after that.
