Amazing guitar.

I don't think I have seen a block logo TTE70.

And definitely not one with a flamed neck much less in natural color.

Assembled in April of 1983 it looks like.

That is a very special guitar.

Hard to know when exactly they added the T. It was in 1983 as far as I can tell, and by the new script logo TST models that came out mid year in 1983.

Which slogan does it have?

"Rock And Roll Fanatics" or "Quality Musical Instruments"?

It was Oldies but Goldies slogan.

And some are Springys and some are Goldstars.

This one has a slogan that is what got them in legal trouble in 1982 with the spaghetti logo, the word "STRAT" is removed at the end.

Here for sale we have a Tokai Springy Sound electric guitar in 2-Tone Sunburst finish. Built in Japan in 1983 this guitar features a Maple neck and fingerboard, 21 frets, a vintage accurate 7.25” fingerboard radius, along with a trio of single coil pickups, wired to a master volume, dual tones and a 5-way blade switch.

The gloss neck plays well, with a comfortable ‘C’ profile that fits snugly in the hand, with the nut feeling fairly narrow and the vintage accurate fingerboard radius giving very easy fretting. Traditional ‘S’ body contours feel familiar, paying tribute to the iconic guitars of the 1950s.

The single coils sound crisp and clear, with a warm low end, an open midrange, along with crisp and bell-like highs. A 5-way switch gives loads of tonal versatility, with the tone pots being wired traditionally - giving you dedicated tones to the neck and middle pickups, with the bridge bypassing the tone for full on spank and twang, truly a springy sound.
