1981 LS120 Solid top intonation abr bridge issue. Refret saga.

Have you noticed the gap between the neck pickup ring and the end of the fingerboard on the G7s? Some bursts had that but some didn't, which is odd.

Forgot to address this. It's not something I've really noticed before. I don't know if that's something the serious clone builders and fans look for. My recently acquired Crews KTR FM59 has a similar gap, but the LEDs do not.

The OP mentions a refret but those photos are a hard NO.
Whoever did the refret needs to offer someone a refund and/or fix the issue.
Honestly, if I had a guitar with a refret with results like this I wouldn't allow the responsible party to touch the guitar ever again.

AFA intonation:
Personally I'm not a big fan of this concept but I know many others are.
I know intonating a stringed instrument serves a purpose but again; not my bag.

Now, a properly done fret job is certainly worth 99% of the game, in my book.

I got a full refund and it's going to Chandlers who will do a top quality job. Won't be cheap but hopefully well worth it.

The guy who did this said I expected a player grade tokai to play like a gibson. Actually no, I expect it to be better than a gibson. It also cost me more than a CS les paul would have at the time. He clearly didn't know what he was looking at.

I guess 99% of people think tokai=cheap knock off crap from the far east. Marketing can work won

I'm with Sigmania. The guy that did that work is a tool.
Then he had the nerve to talk smack after being called out.
He won't last long with those horrible work ethics.
Make sure to leave reviews on this clown everywhere you can.
It looks like you are going to be okay though. I'm sure the new
