    Identify a Fernandes Super grade

Some musings... 1. The route shape is not as circular as the Dyna, so I'd still put a penny on Kasuga, which widens up earlier. 2. It has the Deluxe tuners, which went away late 85ish. 3. WIth Noble tuners, as found in some late Kasugas, the pointer degree/shaft length may then not apply to those.

    Identify a Fernandes Super grade

I'd go with 1984 RLG-60. Export model (thus Fernandes logo). Not VH-1 pickups, VH-3.

    Early 80s Burny Super Grade?

The pot codes are obscured, but from the little that is visible it looks like a 1987 RLG-50 with modded pickups and electronics. Not an early one.

Trying to date my LP Burny

Not that kind of VH-1, these are the later ones that became the "one pickup fits all" for the 90's Les Pauls.

Trying to date my LP Burny

1991 LG-75GR, Slash model made by Fujigen. The pickguard seems to be a third party one added later.

[NGD] I tried dating my new Burny LPC. Anyhing I missed?

Pots and caps seems original. Noble ones for this era.

Further Help Dating Burny MIJ or MIC?

Clearly a Dyna RLC. I've got an RLC from a few weeks later which looks all MIJ, with the exception of the electronics - small pots, different pickups.

Any pics of the whole guitar, control route/pots etc?

[HNGD] Burny RLC60. Neck Pkup cavity question

Those are Matsumoku build codes. It's not clear exactly what they indicate, but from the research I've done so far it'd seem like the first set of numbers is the body shape - this seems consistent throughout the various models I've logged. The second set could be color or some other variant...

When did Fernandes start production in China?

There currently isn't any solid proof it was to Korea (if you have any specific info, let's have it), although we've thought it to be due to the practice of scarf joint necks. However, several Chinese companies have done that as well. This production seems to be only 1999 and 2000, maybe into...

Help identifying Burny Les Paul Custom

Most likely Matsumoku 1985/1986 build from the few images.

Burny SG from the 80's what is it and what are the pickups?

Not older than 89, when the change to the winged bell and the split crown came about. Looking at the pickups and knowing they went from VH-3 to VH-1 in 1990, this should be a 1989 build with VH-3s (brass bottom). Fujigen at best did a few Les Paul models 1991-92 before they started making...
