It's a Tokai Oneham guitar. It seems to be "SJ604SW" in the 1987 catalog. It seems to be a copy model of the heyday of LA metal. The pickup has been replaced with a Duncan SH-4, and the volume has also been replaced with a CTS one. Arm is not genuine. There are scratches and dents, but I think it is beautiful for a guitar over 30 years old. The vintage white body has a noticeable yellow tint, but this machine has a little yellow tint, but I think it still maintains its white state.　 The string height is about 1.8mm to 2.0mm (1st to 6th strings), and it seems that there are more than 70% of the frets. There is a slight chatter in the 2nd string. The playing comfort is neither good nor bad, and I think the sound is good.

A powerful rear hum sound and a single coil front handle a variety of tones.
There are scratches on the whole, but the playability is perfect!

The lock nut has been replaced with an alternative to the gold parts.

This item is BIRTH STRATO type EXTRA VERSION.

When I received this item, I heard that it would be a Japanese-made model that TOKAI was involved in manufacturing in the late 1980s.

It can be said to be a rare model with a large head that is rarely seen on the used market.

Equipped with an original PU from the time, you can enjoy the tasteful sound of the time, from thick solos with drive to power chord backing.

This is an individual that was given to me by a guitar collector.

Although it is not a high-end model, it can be said to be a beautiful individual that does not show its age of 30 years.

There are some small scratches and dents here and there, but overall there are no noticeable scratches and the piece is generally in good condition.
*The metal parts are also in good condition.

I think the guy is totally on the wrong track, it has the typical early 70s Strat copy standard features like the Gibby-style plastic nut and the glued on lower headstock part everyone else did, I'm pretty sure nobody did anything like that in the "late 1980s" and certainly not Tokai.

Lol. Are you reading the sellers description? Funny. I rarely do that. The vast majority seem to be wrong and misleading. I tend to rely on what my eyes tell me and will read them if they are the original owner or have a good story but typically overlook them.
